Connor Riley, Managing Director

Connor Riley brings over 16 years of integrated marketing and media experience into his role as Managing Director at Engage Marketing. As Managing Director, Connor focuses on strategic consulting, program implementation, new business development, property representation and serving as Engage’s “Designated Grownup.”

Connor’s marketing career started in 1999 as one of the first employees at Starcom Sports Marketing – part of Leo Burnett sister agency, Starcom. Starcom Sports Marketing relaunched as Relay Sponsorship & Event Marketing in 2001 as part of the Publicis – BCOM3 merger/acquisition.

During his initial years at Relay, Connor served on the U.S. Army business where he helped launch first time programs including the U.S. Army NHRA and NASCAR race teams, Arena Football program, U.S. Army Spring Break, and served as Game Director of the nationally-televised U.S. Army All-American Bowl.  After over four years on the U.S. Army business, Connor transitioned to strategic consulting and program execution for clients including Allstate, Motorola, Nike and McDonald’s while also serving on Relay’s business development team.

After nearly 8 years at Relay, Connor took a position as Director of Sales, Sponsorships & Events at the Wall Street Journal Office Network where he focused on integrating event marketing and digital out-of-home media at Class A office buildings around the country. From there he launched his own out-of-home media agency focused on commuter advertising before reconnecting with his strategic marketing roots and joining Engage.

Connor lives in suburban Chicago with his wife and four daughters.
